Hello all EPEA and EPPEA members!
I hope this finds you well and enjoying your summer months.
I wanted to provide you an update on the negotiations process for both EPEA and EPPEA bargaining groups.
After months of hard work from the listening sessions through negotiations, both EPEA and EPPEA have reached tentative agreements! Of course, with any negotiations session, there is give and take from both sides of the table. However, both EPPEA negotiators (Angela Ericsson, Aubrey Torkelson, Dominic Kirkpatrick) and EPEA negotiators (Charles Cooper, Michelle Rada, Rhett Larson, Nate Gabel and Dominic Kirkpatrick) are very pleased to present the tentative agreements on Tuesday, August 31st in between district kickoff sessions at the member-only ratification meeting events.
Ratification Meetings
EPEA Members:
· By 11:00am: Arrive at CMS via district transportation
· 11:10am- 11:55: EPEA member-only ratification meeting begins (CMS Large Gym)
· 12:00 – 1:00pm: Food truck lunch for all
EPPEA Members:
· By 11:00am: Arrive at CMS via district transportation
· 11:00-12:00pm: Food truck lunch for all
· 12:10-12:45: EPPEA member-only ratification meeting begins (CMS Large Gym)
Waiting for the details can be hard
All details will be shared at the Tuesday, August 31, ratification event, so please do not place negotiators in an awkward position to share details before then 😊.
All members can expect to have access to the tentative agreement for review before the ratification vote takes place on Thursday, September 2, in an electronic format.
